"The Marketing of Dietary Supplements: Bogus Promises in a Bottle"

Dr. Norman Temple, Professor of Nutrition at Athabasca University, will be presenting as part of the Edith Rowles Simpson Lecture Series. Dr. Temple has published more than 60 papers, mainly in the area of nutrition in relation to health. He has also published 11 previous books. Dr. Temple conducts collaborative research in Cape Town on the role of the changing diet in South Africa on the pattern of chronic diseases in that country, such as obesity, diabetes and heart disease.

This lecture will be held on March 27, 2012 at 7:00pm at the Frances Morrison Library Lecture Theatre (311-23rd Street East) and conclude with a short reception. It is free and open to the public!
